Fact: Covid-19 introduced a lot – A LOT – of food biz online.
But Katrina Andrea Tolentino, whose family opened Papa Jun’s FoodHub this May, said this doesn’t worry them.
“There are a lot of food and online businesses out there, and a lot of great and passionate cooks,” she acknowledged. “But with Papa Jun’s, if you check our menu, we only focus on six bestsellers. This is because we wanted to focus more on quality of our dish rather than quantity, and we wanted to make sure that the taste of Papa Jun’s recipe is reminiscent (of the 1980’s home cooking).”
